Lane Cove EV Charging Infrastructure for 86 Car Spaces

A large townhouse and apartment development in Lane Cove engaged our team to deliver a scalable EV charging solution that would serve 86 car spaces across upper and lower basement levels.

With EV ownership rapidly increasing, the strata committee wanted a structured system that could fairly accommodate residents now while being future-ready for the entire community.

We installed a Schneider Electric Canalis Busway system throughout both car park levels, supported by an advanced Load Management System and backbone cabling. Data cabling was provisioned for all 86 car spaces, with final lengths coiled neatly in the common areas, ready for quick deployment as new chargers are added. Networking equipment, a 4G modem, and 12 months of connectivity were included to ensure reliable communication between the chargers and the management system. The Enevi Charge Point Operation platform was also set up and commissioned to enable smart billing and monitoring.

This installation provides residents with the confidence that their building is EV-ready, offering seamless expansion as more owners transition to electric vehicles. Each resident will enjoy the convenience of home charging, with usage tracked and billed fairly via the Enevi platform. The backbone design and clean execution mean future connections can be added without costly rework or disruptive construction.
