A metropolitan council required a robust EV charging solution for its staff fleet vehicles, located in a busy public car park. The goal was to provide reliable daily charging for 11 vehicles, while ensuring safety, neat integration with existing infrastructure, and clear wayfinding for staff and visitors.

Our team modified the existing Main Switch Board (MSB) to integrate a new EV Distribution Board, with dedicated sub-mains and cabling to service the charging bays. We supplied and installed power and data to 11 charging points, supported by surface-mounted cable trays for a clean and organised finish. 11 Schneider Electric chargers were installed on sturdy surface-mounted bollards, all connected to a central Load Management Controller to ensure balanced and efficient power distribution. The installation was completed with line marking and six dedicated EV signage posts, ensuring clear visibility and compliance with public safety standards.

Council staff now benefit from a reliable and convenient charging setup that supports daily fleet operations. The smart load management system ensures consistent charging without overloading the network, while the bollard-mounted chargers are safe, durable, and accessible for all users. Clear line marking and signage make the EV bays easy to locate and reserve, reducing confusion in a busy shared car park.

For the council, this project delivers a professional and scalable charging solution that supports the transition to a cleaner vehicle fleet, aligning with sustainability commitments and reducing operational costs over time. Electrify EV’s Charge Point Operation Software

  • Electrify EV offers a Charger Management Software Platform called enevi (available now on Apple App Store and Google Play) which caters to every current and future need of your EV strategy. It is hardware agnostic, has lots of reporting functions and handles billing too.
  • This system is very similar to EVX and Chargefox, and we also have existing relationships with both of those platforms. However with Enevi, we operate the CPO platform ourselves, meaning we offer an end-to-end solution for our customers.

  • Electrify EV’s enevi App allows users to easily tap on to a charger, whether they are managers, residents or other clients – This is all easily configurable in the platform.
  • New users will scan a QR Code on the charger and be taken to the App Store to download the enevi They will then register with their credit card and then tap on to start charging.

  • Many types of reports can easily be generated via the enevi
  • We do also offer custom integrations to third party software via the API at additional cost.
  • Designated client contacts or managers can be provided with access to the back-end of the enevi Software, allowing for functionality such as:
    • Building Management Staff – Access to charging data, statistics, fault logs
    • Strata Management Staff – Real-time access to see charger faults and billing issues.
  • enevi is a flexible and fully detailed Charge Point Operation platform which is widely used throughout Europe (under a different brand name) and has been proven to be reliable and fit for purpose.
